We want to make the world more ethical and sustainable, and for that reason… Kapable uses high-quality fabrics made from natural fibers, as they have a lower environmental impact and allow our bodies to breathe freely. Our bodies were made to be in contact with nature, and natural fibers are, as the name suggests, of natural origin — plant-based (Cotton, Hemp) or animal-based (Sheep’s wool, goat hair, etc.).

Our pieces are produced in Portugal by local seamstresses, supporting the Portuguese economy. And because we are a fusion between Europe and Africa, we purchase ethnic and traditional fabrics directly from the communities who make them, thus supporting local workers in Ivory Coast.

We also offer repairs throughout the entire lifespan of the piece. We accept repairing all our garments at no extra cost because we believe that pieces should be valued and passed from generation to generation.

We also want to fight textile waste and avoid contributing to environmental pollution, so we use leftover production materials to give life to new pieces, applying the zero-waste concept.
